Our Story

Kota started with a simple idea: the places we experience become part of who we are.

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I was surrounded by landscapes that made ordinary moments feel unforgettable—from mountain trails and snowy peaks to the places that inspire adventure and exploration.

At 19 years old, while attending community college, I started building Kota with a vision of creating more than just products. I wanted to design pieces that carry the feeling of a place, a memory, or an experience with you wherever you go.

Right now, Kota is built by one person with a lot of passion, late nights, and a dream to create something meaningful. Every design, idea, and decision comes directly from that vision.

As Kota grows, the goal remains the same: create thoughtful products inspired by the places worth remembering.
